Looking downstream

Today my little boy wanted to go for a walk in the forest, so we headed out with a picnic to a local spot that we like.  When we arrived it was quite busy, with a large party occupying a huge space in the picnic area, so we decided to walk on a bit to find another spot.

We followed a path alongside a stream which eventually brought us out at a lovely flat picnic spot, definitely a spot we will be visiting again.

The kids had fun throwing stones into the stream, and racing sticks.
