Big fish

MF sent me this photo of a Vivaneau (snapper, according to Wiki), caught off the coast of Madagascar, bought in Auchan megamarket, 3.8 kg.

Auchan were selling it at 26€/kg, obviously too expensive for the usual clientele, so instead of throwing it away for cat food or whatever, MF managed to haggle it down to 10€/kg.

Her mum then made it into a delicious Cary de Poisson, enough for at least 20 people.

Wonder how much the fisherman got paid for this...
