Hopscotch – a game for children of all ages played alone or with friends.

Toss a small object into the spaces on this rectangular pattern and then hop or jump through the spaces to retrieve the object. It is known by different names all over the world – and with differing rules. In Australia, for example, the game involves jumps and sizzles !
