Off The Rails

This evening I took the monthly monday night trip into Timaru for Focus Aorangi, Timaru's Photography Club.

Tonight's theme was creative photography, and we had a number of stations set up around the room enabling us to capture images of water droplets, smoke, the lensing effect of water droplets, light tents and lightboxes. All in all a good night was had by all.

On my way back home, I swung past the Port of Timaru to see if there was anything going on. It was a quiet cold and smoggy night, but as Mrs H and I crossed the rail tracks I saw this blipportunity and couldn't pass up on the shot of a parked up train, with the floodlights and fog in the background.
