Ilkley Carnival

My granddaughters' school along with other local schools and groups took part in today's Ilkley Carnival. The theme for this year was based on children's books.
The girls school decided upon Peter Pan and Ruby was a mermaid, Verity a red Indian and Kitty was a Wendy along with lots of others in the same role. The pirate ship was a bit of a problem but their Daddy and other volunteers carried it nearly a mile to the start!
The other problem was to find a dog to play 'Nana'. A message was put out for help and some kind person brought along his dog and even allowed it to get in character! Here's Kitty getting to know Nana.
