What does rain mean?

Staying home & fires & comfort food & old movies.
We seem to think that we'll melt away like the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz.
Rain to children though means laughing & splashing & jumping in puddles.
I vow to jump in puddles again one day - when it's not raining too hard.
