Red Buds - White Clouds

Dear Diary,

The crab apple tree behind the house is budding and against the soft white clouds I thought it look especially lovely.  A far cry from just a few weeks ago when it was encased in ice and snow.  I've always loved this Robin Williams quote,  "Spring is nature's way to say, 'Let's party!' "

Not feeling much like partying quite yet.  I wish I could sit out on my screened porch but it is a construction zone.  There will be a great deal of activity around here today but I will just let them do their thing.  I'll read and rest and try to heal.
