Gazing upon her lovely sporangia
I'm aware that my last several blip posts have involved plants, and with that vapid introduction I offer you the sunlit underbelly of a local fern, her fronds delicately speckled with sporangia. Ferns are ancient plants that have neither seeds nor flowers. This has clearly worked very well for ferns as fossil records show they first appeared approximately 360 million years ago - and there have been few changes in ferns since then!
