rose bow...

...fashioned during end stages

there is something very lovely about those final days... in the life of a rose - or any flower for that matter... some people may believe the flower begins to appear very ugly - with it's droopy blossoms... fading petals... withering up and drying out - eventually falling apart to the ground... with a very few strands remaining - like lone soldiers - left behind...

but look at this - the rose is beginning to dry - has curled around itself now looking like a little girls hair bow... which would attach to a pony tail... adorning it as a last pretty touch - before the girl goes bouncing away to play... to me - the rose is yet full of life and light - giving off a silent dignity with a delicate breath to - make for...
