Monte Deva

Saturday morning a drive this up to Monte Deva. I suppose it is Gijón's country park, a few miles from the city proper. I have never really explored it and have only been in the vicinity a handful of times, odd the odd picnic, children's party when my daughter was younger or to take he play in the snow, which it gets more frequently than Gijón due to its elevation. Apart from being a photo opportunity, Monte Deva host's Gijón's municipal observatory. It's only a very modest affair and used by the local astronomy club and for school visits.
