That burst of energy

I had a morning full of mishaps today and by half past ten I was convinced the day was just going to be one long disaster.

I forgot my purse until I got to the cashpoint and had to go home for it, meaning I did the trip to or from the cashpoint three times. Then having managed that I decided to get the train to work, trains being quicker I might just manage yet to be on time for work. That works if the train times work right. Yep, they didn't today. So I was late for work and feeling tired and ill with it.

Anyway, long story short, I made it through the day, went to my friends for tea and then walked though their (park of a) garden to reach this, the Golden Marquee where I'll spend the majority of this weekend.

I'm not entirely sure why but seeing the tent was as energising as a cup of perfectly made coffee, and my whole state of mind lifted in expectation of great things.
