Wally's Folly

Thank you Bamboo.  The property behind us was hidden for years until one day 7 years ago I went outside hearing the sound of tree cutters.  You guessed it - at least 10 beautiful old oaks were cut down and we had the distinct pleasure of watching them half tear down a house and starting to rebuild.  Then nothing.  Blue tarp and ugly out of every window of our house.  So we hired a landscaper to do some plantings.  Cost lots.  Went to get my hair done one day and the guy asked me if we had any plans.  i said we put our plans in recreating our backyard.  He realized he knew the owner of the "tear down"  Wally.  Poor Wally   had all kinds of bad news construction problems and we had an ugly view in our very private woods.  Good news for us   this summer our planted bamboo is hiding the monstrosity behind us and poor Wally has an unfinished house.  So Sorry Wally.
