CCC: Window Gnat

More desperate in large...

"Can I come in?!"


This gnat wanted to come into my room, but I let it stay outside... I didn't take many pictures today: the female blackbird was taunting me by taking quick washes in the water butt (where I could see her) but then zooming off whenever I went outside to photograph her.

p.s. I rather liked the way that its club-shaped halteres were catching the light on either side of its thorax.
