Dark Trunks and New Leaves
I was on Cannock Chase after lunch, helping my wife by crossing her over a busy road while out riding. Normal practice is I will take my camera, hang around for an hour and then cross her back. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly some people will drive past horses, oblivious to the risks.
Anyway I was idly walking around, looking for shots, when I noticed these tree trunks, darkened by the overnight rain. It had also enlivened the new leaf growth and the combination was quite appealing. To add some movement I used a Lee Big Stopper and watched on the rear screen of the OM-D as the image built up. Three minutes just about did it.
