All In All A Good Day Dressaging...
At last, after so many second places, our team White Roses has finally won a Team Quest competition. It was a tough morning's dressage with torrential rain, but luckily our event was mainly indoors. We got three seconds and a third but it was the total score that counted and it was enough to finally give us the win we were after.
After a few flat weeks Johnny was full of himself and it took all my efforts to harness his energy, but I do prefer him like that. I got an individual second placing, with the same score as the winner but losing out on my 'collectives'. (In dressage, the score is made up of roughly 65% for the required movements and 35% for the way the horse goes and how well the rider rides, known as the collectives and in the event of a tie in the total score the collective scores are used to decide the placings).
All in all...a good days dressaging and although I did not actually take this shot, Mr Kit did, it had to be here really!
