Another cactus flowers!

As the rain was thrashing down, I was chuffed I noticed that a second cactus is flowering. Lucky for you too as I'd only got a dripping wet acer or bird feeder ( no birds! ) in the bag til then.

However, by midday the rain had cleared and we've had a fairly bright but breezy afternoon, which I've spent in the garden, potting up geraniums and seedlings of cornflowers, making up 3 hanging baskets and staring at some trays of seedlings that haven't yet come up ( lavender and sweetpeas ). Time will tell if that approach works!
