Wider networks

We had brunch at the Apiary today with Davor and Ognjenka. They are both part of the wider network of my big project that saw me in and out of the Western Balkans many times over the last 6 years or so. They have many mutual friends, but hadn't previously met one another. Davor is here in Edinburgh for a conference, working with colleagues in Divinity to whom we originally introduced him. Ognjenka is now a student and, as of Friday, employee of the university.

We relived some funny times with Davor, such as our roadtrip in 2012 to Novi Pazar, scene of one of my all time favourite blips, and the time we spent at a team retreat on the island of Lopud, in the October of the same year.

This evening, we are also welcoming back my friend Igor (that's him on the left) after an extended period of paternity leave.
