This morning amateur cyclists were riding part of la Tour de Yorkshire course - they had a choice of three routes - the longest one - 142 km - passing through the village - in pouring rain

They were given encouragement by myself and Wendles56 - who brought along bunting and a Yorkshire Flag - from the top of the village - before moving down to join others in the centre

Looks like we were spotted by a couple of these riders and more are inset
