Peel Farm and Backwater Reservoir

Tim and I had a lazy morning with coffee and cake in bed, then we headed to Peel Farm for coffee and cake with Alex and Emma. We all then went for a walk (with Mouse the dog around Backwater Reservoir. The 12km walk was easy around the footpath, and back along the country road, but despite it being an advertised wall there was a wet, bumpy and rather unsigned pathway through fields and forests at the far end of the reservoir! There were lots of cute lambs though, and despite the slightly disgusting weather we all made it round!

Tim and I also received our first official joint invitation - to Alex and Emma's wedding in October!
