Mr Mallard

It was dark and raining when I awoke today but by the time I'd eaten my breakfast the Sun was shining. I took a trip to the pond at Meriden to see how my feathered friends were doing. Most of the females were on the island, I presume sitting on nests. The males were either busying themselves squabbling or paddling serenely around. I rather liked the plumage of this one and the ripples he was making on the surface.
