A-Dor-able....

Dor Beetles might look jet black if you spot them while out walking, but they really are anything but...

The last few years we've always ended up at Hopes Reservoir around my birthday, hoping (if you'll pardon the pun) for the first cuckoos of the year. Last year they turned up a lot later, but this year we weren't disappointed, even if they were stereotypically flighty.
