One species each day (from my backyard)
It was a sunny but not too warm late autumn Sunday with many opportunities to photograph some more species in my backyard. Due to the cooler wetter conditions, many mushrooms are appearing in the garden, and although I had a nice picture of some, I have so far been unable to identify it, so I'm reluctant to publish it here. So here's a species that was easier to identify, Linaria purpurea, full of fresh flowers, pretending it's still summer. Only when viewing the picture on the computer screen did I notice the crane fly hiding behind some of the flowers.
