McKenzie Bay Lighthouse

Another great day with D. We caught the early ferry to Rangitoto and walked to the summit, and returned via McKenzie Bay and around the foreshore road. Back in good time for his flight home to Christchurch this evening and drive to Timaru tomorrow.
It's been a very enjoyable two days, especially yesterday, showing D the sights Auckland. 
As an aside, as we boarded the ferry for the return trip, we saw a small overloaded dinghy being rowed from a yacht to the shore (see extra photo). I think the guy in the stern was cleaning his teeth? Bizarre.
