Dawg does forlorn without really trying. The trick of this shot was to get the camera as close to the subject as possible, without the subject licking the lens...

The private face was some shots taken of a goldfinch wing, sparrowhawk leftovers, which I am still processing - may see one of these at some time on my secret alter ego back blip page.

Otherwise a dreich day, and Sunday is not looking much better...
