Looks Good To Me

Who Said That?

I've often seen or heard this saying, but I'd never Googled the attribution, and I'd been to Edison many times and never noticed his name below these words until today.

Edward R. Murrow (1908-1965) was an American broadcast journalist who is perhaps best known for his series of live radio broadcasts from London during the Blitz (WWII bombing).

He was born in North Carolina, but his family moved to Whatcom County when he was six years old, and he attended Edison High School. He was president of the student body in his senior year, excelled on the debate team, and was a member of the basketball team, which won the Skagit County championship.

Murrow is also remembered for his strong condemnation of McCarthyism and The Second Red Scare in a 1954 TV program that was a major contribution to the downfall of the infamous Senator Joseph McCarthy.
