BAMBOO-ZLED

We had a large patch of bamboo which needed to be taken in hand. Or fed to a panda.
I called both Edinburgh and London Zoos and offered them a large stash of free panda feed. They declined, saying that the bamboo for pandas had to be sourced from a known supplier. What, like Waitrose?
So we were left wit no alternative but to pay men with noisy machinery to come and munch the roots. They did so in a far less photogenic way than would have done a panda. 
The Solanum was duly planted and has some way to go, but it's making good progress, bless it.
