Friends at last!

We had a good journey this morning - we left home at 7.30am and arrived in Warrington at midday.  We stopped off to see Alan's parents and then left the boys with them while we went to Costco to pick up Mum's birthday cake, and came away with a little more than planned :-)  

We then picked up the boys and went to see Rachel, Scott & Scarlett.  Scarlett has always been very wary of Milou & Bobbie - she liked them from a distance but not if they came too close.  Anyway, Rach asked her if she'd like to see them today and she said yes.  They've calmed down a lot since she last saw them at Christmas, and this is the end result, I think we were all amazed!

We all went to Frankie & Benny's for an early dinner and I got a lovely photo of Scarlett with Blipbear and Kiwi which I'd planned to blip, but this is such a lovely image and a big breakthrough that it had to be my blip.

We're now at mum's where we're staying until Monday, and looking forward to her 80th birthday celebrations tomorrow - her birthday is actually on the 17th, but she'll be in Brighton with us then, so we're having the party tomorrow.
