Woodpecker

They are amazing the way they grip the tree trunk and can run up, down and round. There is a fat feeder on this tree but the bird did not go near it.. It allowed me to get 19 shots before it flew off. 
It has been very chilly today. I went to Dingwall with my friend and it was very quiet with a couple of our neighbours  outside the Town Hall, supporting the green party and next to them were people supporting the SNP. They had a beautiful dog wearing an SNP jacket. There was no sign of any other Political Parties. Foloh went to Inverness where he said it was packed with crowds waiting to see Nicola Sturgeon. Plus other parties were out canvassing. So for a quiet life Dingwall was the place to be. We enjoyed a coffee in the Courtyard plus some of their fabulous fruit slice!
It is great to get some pleasant news today regarding our new little Princess.
