New take on an air bed

Walking round the moat this morning to check to see if the signets had arrived, I came across this family of coots swimming happily together, then just  as I was about to walk away three of the little chicks jumped onto a piece of bubble wrap floating on the water

Fort Brockhurst is run by English Heritage but sadly the moat has not been cleared of weed or rubbish for the last few years.

All though it is sad in some respects, on this occasion the bubble wrap was to the chick’s advantage.
