Absent partner

For the past week it has been me that has been exhasted. Tonight it was Ally.
One glass of Merlot and he was nodding.
He works so hard, but doesn't complaint. Sleep well.

Today I shook off my tiredness and iced a cake, drove to Falkirk, but two pairs of trousers for my Dad, some messages and drove to their abode. By the time I got there I was ready for bed too. It was lovely to see them, but after a short belated happy birthday to Mum, it was home for me.

After packing the van for a weekend break, it was plain we wouldn't be able to go until a good sleep.

Anyone that mentions age will be dealt with!
