With your eyes closed

This text made me wonder if this is a universal expression people use to describe how easy it is to do something. Not knowing about any other language, at least Japanese has exactly the same expression.

The spring semester finally started. I had the first lecture on phonology. I'm not really interested in the sound of English, but I hope I can do well on the module.
