May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii

. . .    and lei are entered in a contest in different types and are hung and admired in an all-day festival with music and hula and food in Kapiolani Park.
This lei won 'The Mayor's Grand Prize'.  The beautiful background is ti leaves and monstera leaves.  The ingredients are:  A'ali'i, liko lehua, pa'iniu(flower), palapalai fern, pukiawe, lonomea (fruit).  I am only familiar with 2 of these.
This lei won the grand prize  last year.
