Muddy Alpaca

Birding was wonderfully enjoyable today, but garnered very few birds. We were out with an all women group, in heavy cold fog and basically heard a few birds but saw next to nothing. But! We found a Woodcock with young (extremely unusual and lucky find), and then a field with a pair of horses and a pair of alpacas in it. You get an alpaca as the main course, with a Woodcock chick as dessert.
