Quod oculus meus videt

Late Light and Reflections, Town Pool

Popped to Weston Park at the end of the day, hoping for some fireworks in the sky.  In the end it was all rather subtle, but I enjoyed a good 90 minutes around the park, seeing it in different light from my normal visits.

Certainly saw some wildlife, including a family of coots, complete with chicks.  I think I've remarked before how ugly they are!  My highlight for the evening was seeing badgers coming out from their setts.  It was definitely a first for me and though I took a photo, having to use iso25600 did not lend itself to a postable image.  It was still great to watch them for a few minutes before it became too dark.
