The road to Islay

It's been a 24 hour odyssey to get here, via Loch Fyne for a delicious seafood lunch, a two hour ferry trip from Tarbert and a pint of ale at the Port Charlotte Hotel. It was an amazing sunny blue day for the whole trip. Our cottage is gorgeous - we christened the hot tub on the deck by drinking champagne in it... It would have been rude not to!
