Scarborough

After a VERY long and tedious journey, we eventually arrived in Scarborough. Davids parents were already here at the house, Davids sister, her husband and children arrived shortly after us as did the online shop which caused a few minutes of bedlam as we got all the food in and tried to find places to put it in the tiny kitchen.

The house is very big (on 4 floors) but looks like it hasn't been updated since 1927. The main decorative theme is 'brown', lots of wood, ornaments, fake flowers and old paintings. It's like stepping back in time.

After a couple of bottles of prosecco and fish and chips, we had a walk along the sea front and are now relaxing in our brown sitting room with a glass of wine.
