It is Friday

Last night at Burgundy's it was the Freddie Garner Quartet and here he is on the left with both hands dancing up and down the keyboard.  To the right on tenor sax is Jim Collins an extremely talented player - I tried to capture his frowning and eye concentration.  They were joined by Stewart Riley on bass and Phil Bennett on drums.
A great night and I won the last prize in the raffle - a large packet of liquorice allsorts, my favourites!
Sadly Jim who has been leading on organising the gig for the past couple of years is moving to north Yorkshire to be near his family as his wife is very ill.  A scratch group of us will try and replace him to keep the jazz nights going, which have been going on for at least 10 years.
