Went for a walk along the beach today and ended up at Blyth Battery here's a link. It's open at weekends and run by volunteers. They have all sorts of interesting things in their museum from 1st and 2nd World Wars, plus they've set up a 1940s living room. They would welcome any donations - particularly a rag rug.
