Light bulb moment...

An idea, that didn't work.

I thought it might be good if we turned our bed round so that it was under the window. 

So, we stripped off the bedding, after much manouvering we got the bed under the window, only to find there was not enough space for us to walk round it.  I did measure the gap before hand, and I new it would be a tight fit, but we only had a 20cm gap either side of the bed, good idea in theory but not in practice.  However, it enabled me to clean under the bed, I found one of Roys tablets, a couple of screws (I new there was something missing!!) and 2 euros 50 cents.
