Great Gable

Had another early start today and headed for Wasdale, thinking the  weather was going to be calm enough to get some good reflection shots. 
How wrong we were, the lake was quite rough and there was an icey nip in the air.
Hubby was having a good ankle day today so we  walked to the bottom of Gable and sat and reflected about what used to be, the number of times we had been to the top by various routes and wondered if we should have a bit longer walk and "do" even part of it but for ones we had our sensible heads on walked low level back to the van via Wasdale Head Hotel.
