Tulip Envy!!

Thankfully a sunny day to report here today which was good news for us as we visited an NGS (National Garden Scheme) Open Garden in Essex called Ulting Wick http://www.ultingwickgarden.co.uk/  It's a 4 acre garden and the owner Philippa planted 6,000 tulip bulbs last autumn and we got to see the results today and it was stunning!! this was only a small patch in the kitchen garden and she had so many different varieties , many of which i'd never seen before! Amazing to see them all planted en masse and this was one of my favourite colour combinations so i'm now trying to work out where i can plant more tulips lol!! A truly stunning garden - and the teas and scones were rather lovely too!!
