A Fine Spring Day!

Morning found me on campus first thing, and what a fine day it was shaping up to be. Wall-to-wall sunshine bathed everything it touched in magnificent morning light, perfect for taking pictures.

I did a quick stroll around a few of my favorite parts of campus, marveling at how the bright colors of the spring buds on the trees made it almost resemble autumn. Spring and fall are some of the loveliest times of year to visit our beautiful campus. Squirrels and chipmunks and birds were everywhere.

I stopped by the duck pond, hoping to meet spring's first crop of ducklings, but the duck pond was silent, and there were no ducklings to be seen. Not even a turtle popped its head out. The quiet, glassy surface of the duck pond shone with the reflection of a fine spring day.

The tune: The Beatles, with Good Day Sunshine.
