Mostar

Mostar is a city in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the most important of Herzegovina, in the center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. It is situated on the Neretva river and is the country's fifth largest city. Mostar is known for its famous bridge, the Stari Most ("Old Bridge") and they charged the guards called Mostari passage. The bridge was destroyed by units of the HVO during the war in Bosnia, the November 9, 1993 at 10:15 hours. Slobodan Praljak, the commander of the Croatian forces, was tried by the ICTY for ordering their destruction and other charges.

Mostar o Móstar es una ciudad de Bosnia-Herzegovina, la más importante de Herzegovina, en el centro del cantón de Herzegovina-Neretva. Está situada a orillas del río Neretva y es la quinta ciudad más grande del país. Mostar recibe el nombre de su famoso puente, el Stari Most (‘Puente Viejo’) y por los guardianes que cobraban el pasaje llamados mostari.
