First rays of sun

I woke during the night with a scratchy throat. I chose my car over my bike and arrived at work at the same time the first rays of sun caught autumn leaves on the trees around the car park.

The upside of a sore throat.

Every the optimist I'm still hoping to head to the mountains tomorrow. The weather will be good, not much wind, the hut has a fire and we can leave the big uphill out and make it cruisey.

I'll be in bed by 8.30 and we'll see how I am in the morning.
