Spring Beech tree

We decided to have a walk this morning.  The fresh growth on the beech trees in Little Wold Plantation were a beautiful lime green, and the shape on this tree was reminiscent of Japanese trees, which are shaped by hand. Looking forward to returning to Japan in November.
We were lucky as it didn't rain.
