I would like to introduce you to John, my opposite number in a like-minded institution. Tomorrow is his last day in post. His secondment has come to an end and I shall miss his good company, considerable knowledge and hard work.

A surprisingly good meeting lasting all morning, a lovely lunch with John, a stroll home and a fabulous client.
