Boats
Maximum of 13C and a bit of a breeze today. Usual early morning trip to the Coop for a fresh pastry, but for a change I drove along to Easthaven and had a wander around the few boats stored at the back of the beach there and took some pics of old rusting winches.
Maeve the Deerhound and I set out for our walk a little earlier today, and both enjoyed being out in the bright sunny day. The Angus countryside was looking at its best, with clear air allowing us to see for miles and look at all the trees in full leaf and the crops in the fields making good progress.
At the Westhaven Fishermen's huts the new boat I had spotted a few days back was out from under its tarpaulin being painted, so I said hello to the owner and we had a blether about the boat and he told me that it would be ready for the water soon and he would have it out fishing. There never seems to be a rush with people who sail boats.
Needless to say pics were taken of things at the back of the beach, but as I was walking along the track in front of the cottages I got this shot across a garden to the sea at high tide with all the boats bobbing around in the sunshine :-)
