Taking a Break

This carpenter bee was being chased by a potential mate this afternoon.  There was lots of buzzing, flying sideways, etc.  Quite fun to watch but unfortunately I was not quick enough to get an inflight shot.  

The Mrs took a brief break here and then they flew off together.
