Last Light on the 'Curley Wyrley'
For once a sunset. After heavy rain heralded the dawn I was in a training session during the day on the new anti social behaviour powers available to public bodies.
After dinner the skies really beckoned so I drove over to Pelsall North Common for some late photography. Tried some new settings on the camera, including Live Time with a Lee Big Stopper. For anyone who has kept their fingers crossed that chosen time is enough to correctly expose an image with the filter, only to find the resulting image is either horribly over or under exposed, Live Time is a revelation. You just watch the screen as the image builds up before your eyes. It even includes a histogram to help you judge. You choose when to close the shutter ensuring good exposure each time.
In the end I didn't publish one of those shots instead choosing this last minute sunset.
