Lord Kennet

An exciting morning having the privilege of a guided tour around 100 Bayswater Road. This house was once the home of J M Barrie (Peter Pan) and more recently has been the family house of Thoby Young, the third Lord Kennet and previously his late mother and father Wayland and Elizabeth, Lord and Lady Kennet.

The house is grade II* listed and is a splendid Arts and Crafts era mansion overlooking Hyde Park. Crammed with sculptures and paintings it was a real treat to be welcomed in to this private family house. Thoby was charming and hospitable and was happy to be snapped.
